Featuring about 20 selected contemporary artworks of 15 Australian and
Chinese artists, this exhibition explores the aesthetic and conceptual
intersections and exchanges that occur between them through sharing
their work and ideas. This merging of visual and cultural traditions
informs the practice of many Australian and Chinese artists as they retain
and draw upon their own cultural heritage and identity as well as those
of their adopted society and the diversity and variety within.
